Dark Vengeance lashes out with an offensive strike that hits White Lady for 13 STUN and 0 BODY after defenses. White Lady flies back 1" and lands on the ground.

As Indigo Baron flies up, Black Eagle attacks the tiny superhero with a martial attack, but misses.
The dusky skin man that Iron Duke had been watching suddenly turns all black and sprouts hundreds of sharp spikes from his body. He leaps over some of the onrushing crowd in the direction of Iron Duke. He lands about 6" away and does not attack.
Phase 5 - DEX 20
Green Knight grabs the man as carefully as he can and runs towards the grass. Even moving at 13", he does not reach it this phase.

White Lady gets to her feet and targets Dark Vengeance with an icy entangle but misses.
Phase 6 - DEX 23
Violet Duchess attacks Dark Vengeance with a Mind Reading.
GM: Marty, you need to declare the desired effect level you are attempting before rolling effect. Go ahead and declare your desired effect level now.
VIOLET DUCHESS (GM): I believe I want surface and hidden thoughts. I'm interested in finding out who he is, what is their objective, how many of them are they, what their next move is, etc. I don't believe all of that is surface level thoughts but if it is then I'm cool just sticking to that level.
Violet Duchess probes the mind of Dark Vengeance but is unable to gather any information.
VIOLET DUCHESS (GM): Does that mean he has no current thoughts or that my roll was too low for his mental defense + ego? I'm assuming it wasn't because of an EOCV miss.
GM: You definitely hit him but didn't have enough power to get through his EGO + Mental Defense.
Indigo Baron flies up to Black Eagle and attacks him but misses.
Iron Duke attacks the man with the gun with a TK Grab and Hold. He encases the man in a 5 DEF, 5 BODY Entangle. |
