VAMPERINA: Vamperina and Dan can tell you that there were a lot of guards in the >MML and they searched the entire mine (MML only). The only thing noticable that happened on the cell block level is that, when you return to your cells, you notice that all of Curt's personal belongings that he did not have with him are no longer there. Presumably the guards confiscated them. They also did a pretty thorough search of his cell (Surge would definitely have noticed that his stuff had been gone through).
SURGE: Surge will ask Dan and Vamperina if they were using special equipment when they were searching. It seems like the reaction was much less than Big Rolf's riot. Is that true? Did they lock the miners out of the MML for a day while they swept it?
VAMPERINA: "They had some special equipment but I have no idea what it was. They did not lock us out from mining."
SURGE: My thought is what would happen if Surge was to disappear in the DZ? The biggest concern would be that they would bring in a special sensor that would discover Curt's exit facade. If we were fairly confident that the type of search they'd perform would not penetrate Curt's disguise then it may be worth considering.
VAMPERINA: "I think it's safe to say that they would do the same kind of search down here."
SURGE: How often do inmates come up missing? Is this a very rare occurance? Or is it typical that maybe an inmate per year will go up missing?
GM: It's very rare. As far as you know, you've heard of all of the escapes and escape attempts that have happened for the last few years.
SURGE: One interesting idea is to have Curt appear as Surge as Surge hides deep in the DZ. Curt as Surge volunteers for the MML and disappears a few days later. Curt would pull the same trick with the waste disposal unit and they'd think Surge escaped from the MML, not looking in the DZ. Maybe we could even make a hidey some place big enough for Surge to curl up and hide there. Worth throwing out there.
VAMPERINA: "Interesting idea but what is the specific goal that we are trying to accomplish? Two mysterious disappearances in a short space of time could trigger additional security measures that might interfere with our plans. I'm thinking that we keep on with our current plans for now and open the escape tunnel to let Curt explore." |
