INDIGO BARON: (GM) Did IB drop the trigger or did he maintain his hold? I did send a DEX roll, but only just recently as I missed the request the first time I read the post.

GM: Indigo Baron failed his DEX roll at -2 so he dropped the box. That means that on phase 6, he spent a half move getting back to his feet and another half move retrieving the box. He can act normally on phase 9.

IRON DUKE (GM):  A couple of questions before I pull the trigger on actions for the next phase --  What furnishings remain in the room with the hostages?  What's nearby here outside Room 11?   How many objects can I manipulate simultaneously with TK Manipulation?

GM: The room is a conference room so there is a large table and a dozen or so chairs. Outside the room there are some chairs and a small table a short distance away (5"). I added them to the map. There is also a receptionist desk with lots of desk-type stuff on it, including a computer.

GM: You have the "Fine Manipulation" adder to your TK so I give you a lot of leeway in using it, as long as you are only making a single attack.

IRON DUKE (SWAT Team Members):  "What was the down man doing when he got shot?  Any estimate on the line of fire?"


SWAT: "He had moved in to assist the hostages. As near as we can tell, the bullet came through the window."

WHITE LADY: The White Lady continues to move up, standing right next to the fallen Indigo Baron. Her first inclination is to help protect Indigo Baron, but if the terrorist get the trigger, they are all dead. Besides, while her ice walls are sturdy, they aren't sturdy enough to stand up to sustained gunfire. So she simply grabs the remote. 

WHITE LADY (tech): 1/2 move forward, grab the bomb remote. 

WHITE LADY (GM): Does grabbing the remote end her turn, or can she do something else (like move further away)?

PHASE 9

Violet Duchess hits terrorist 11 with a psionic blast, causing 12 damage. The terrorist drops to the ground, barely conscious.

DEX 20
Iron Duke does a full, non-combat move and reaches the entrance to room 11 at the end of the round. Two SWAT police are there. They quickly brief Iron Duke, telling him that a SWAT member is down. They tried once to retrieve him but the officer was shot, though not critically so. The hostages are still inside and are ducked down below the level of the windows. The shooter is somewhere outside though they don't know where.

DEX 18
Terrorist 1 regains his feet and shouts orders as he blasts at the wall of ice with his SMG. The rounds shatter the fragile wall bringing it down in a rain of sparkling ice.

Terrorist 12 gets to his feet and fires a burst at Green Knight. One round hits for 0 BODY and 0 STUN.

Terrorist 15 also gets to his feet. He pulls out a grenade, tugs out the pin with his teeth, and lobs it towards Indigo Baron after the wall goes down. The grenade explodes upon impact.

Still holding onto the bomb or trigger, Indigo Baron launches himself away from the grenade as it impacts and detonates. He suffers 0 BODY and 15 STUN. He again drops the trigger/bomb and is barely conscious.

GM: Indigo Baron drops to -5 STUN which normally means that he is barely conscious but mostly unaware of his surroundings. However, all non-persistent powers shut off, including his Shrinking and Density Increase. Because the linked characteristics (Mighty Atom II) also shut off, it means that his STUN drops to 29, putting him at -33 STUN and down for the count. The good news is that he got the bomb/trigger away from the terrorists and White Lady is in the best position to retrieve it.

PHASE 10

DEX 20

Green Knight winds up and punches terrorist 15 and knocks him back into terrorist 1. Terrorist 15 takes 26 STUN and drops again. He is barely conscious. He flies back into terrorist 1, hitting him and knocking him down but doesn't cause any damage.

White Lady moves up, grabs the bomb/trigger and then runs back along the corridor.
