How much interaction is there going to be between the Vamperina, Max and Chase in the mining pod, and Eli, Surge and Curt in ROCK? It's an hour and a half round trip in a Quasar Roustabout. Is someone from ROCK going to head over every day? Every two days?
SURGE: Surge will most likely stick to just ROCK for now. If I don't explicitly say I'm going to the pod then I won't. I expect that Surge and Nobody will be constantly communicating. I'd expect Curt, after he gets adjusted to things up here, will go and mine full time. Surge will tell you that he's going to do a thorough search of the ship and its systems.
CURT: Yea, at the end of Jan, Curt was planning on starting to head over to the mining pod to start mining full time.
CHASE: Chase: will continue to mine to payback VAMPERINA and add a little more himself.
For her part, Vamperina plans on spending all of her time mining for now until she is sure that we have enough money to get everyone imperial IDs. From what Jack said, the group has enough for at least three right now. If we work through February and March, and Curt lends a hand, then we should have enough for three more, which is all we need.
CURT: Before leaving to mine, Curt will also make the suggestion it might be in our interest to see if we can get into that safe in the master stateroom. Who knows. There may be a ton of valuables in there we could use to fix the ship, get our papers, etc. If nothing else, there might be personal effects that will help us determine just who the girl is. |
