Ianna | 33 | IANNA: {Any of you that can hurt them without the backlash, attack with what you have while moving forward.}
TECH:
Half move to keep pace with group
Hold half action to abort to phasing dodge
+1 to DCV in phasing dodge
IANNA (OOC): Yeah, this is tricky. Going defensive for those without ranged attacks is probably best. Not sure if we're making enough progress back to the ship to survive.
TECH: On 7 when no shadow attacks Ianna, she'll use her held half action to pull out her Speldar 9mm Pistol |

Shooter | 20 | SHOOTER: Wanting to finish off the "quivering" Shadow, Shooter fires at it with his Colt Manhunter
TECH: OCV 12 [rolled 9], Damage 3d6K Penetrating [rolled 4 4 2 - Total: 10, Body: 3], Stun [rolled 4], KNB [rolled 4] |
Marco | 23 or 18 | |
SHADOW | 24 | |
Shooter hits the "quivering" Shadow with a round from his Colt Manhunter causing it to "freeze" in place.
GM: The group has taken out two of the Shadows now.
GM: At the end of phase 7, two more Shadows dive in, stopping in front of Shooter and Curt. On phase 8, Dex 24, the Shadow that attacked Ianna flees while the two new Shadows attack Shooter and Curt.
JACK: {Okay, I'm starting to get a sense for how to read the damage on these things, that "quivering" must be their version of stunned or even knocked out. Once they are quivering I would hope that it would be far less painful for those of us who rely on physical attacks to hurt them. I'm willing to try it if you get another one to that point, the pain of touching them isn't that bad even if it's still active, and it will let me hopefully put one of them down for the count. Whether it's worth trying to capture one or not is a whole other story.}
GM: Go ahead and send me your actions for phases 8-9.
JACK: {I think I have the edge here, I'm going to turn left unless someone has reason to believe the bridge is to the right.}
JACK (GM): Jack will start trying to move a bit more now that he has an edge to follow, he will advance 4" and then retreat 2" back toward the group, trying to find the bridge sooner. Once he's done this twice, let me know so I can decide whether to keep going or try changing directions. My thinking is that I am unlikely to have missed it by much more than 12m, but if that's an obvious fallacy let me know.
IANNA: {Go ahead.}
DASAN: {I don't think we have much of a choice but to stand and fight. If I get hit again somebody is going to have to hold up my guns for me. I will keep moving with the group if that is what you all want to do, but I hope someone is willing to carry my sorry butt when I drop.}
IANNA {Hang in there Dasan. I'm pulling out my pistol. Maybe that will have an effect.}
