GM: Since some of the terrorists go on phase 8, then I only need actions from White Lady for now.  Then I will resolve the terrorists before we move on to phase 9.

GM: The terrorists and White Lady both have a DEX of 18 so they need to roll off on a 1d6, higher number goes first (tie means both actions happen simultaneously).

GM: Terrorists [rolled 6]

WHITE LADY: [rolled 6]

VIOLET DUCHESS: As she read the terrorist's mind, she started updating her teammates. *All intend to kill hostages then blow the building. Believe terrorist in room across from White Lady has triggered his vest.*

WHITE LADY: White Lady was frustrated at missing the terrorist. He had moved at just the wrong time and dissipated her condensing ice before she could solidify it. Making Ice Sculptures was a lot harder when you're trying to form them around a moving target! White Lady considered changing to just putting up a wall instead, but realized that her ice walls were easily avoided or destroyed by someone with automatic weapons. She had to immobilize him first. Though the screams from the other room had her worried, there was nothing she could do about them now. Hopefully paramedics were climbing up from below to take care of the wounded. She wondered how that terrorist had managed to set off his bomb when he couldn't twitch a finger, but that too was an issue for later. First she had to get some ice around this terrorist!

White Lady suddenly recalls why the bomb went off. The bomber triggered the bomb before he was encased in ice. She still recalls the shocked expression on the terrorist's face when the bomb did not detonate immediately but instead set off a 10 second timer. Thus the bomb continued to tick even while the bomber was encased in ice.

VIOLET DUCHESS: Upon hearing her teammates moving to the last position the mentalist turned her attention back to the two terrorists. One was still firing on the illusionary SWAT team while the other was encased in ice. She still need to learn the location of the bomb. While she probed his thoughts, she attempted to update the illusion in the terrorist's mind. The terrorist now saw the SWAT team withdraw down the hallway. Footsteps could be heard coming from the left. Voices from that direction indicated that they had freed the hostages and would lead them out of the building. The SWAT team would continue to withdraw to the hallway to the left.

GREEN KNIGHT: Green Knight is in a quandry. He wants to ensure the murderous terrorist stays down but also wants to protect the people from the bomb. He decides to do both.

TECH: This phase he will do a half move up to the barely conscious terrorist and hit him hard enough to keep him out. Green Knight is not concerned if these scum die in their own murderous explosions.

TECH: 32 pt MP, 30 points in Gaia's Touch and 2 points in Speed of the Wolf.

OCV 7, DCV 8 [rolled 10], Damage 6d6 normal damage plus 2d6 Transfer (STR to DEX) [rolled 1 4 3 6 6 5 6 - Total: 31, Body: 9], [rolled 6 3 - Total: 9, Body: 3], KNB [rolled 2]

IRON DUKE (OOC): Heh -- I think we've established that the walls are built better than standard office partitions.  I figure we'll be going out the door.

IRON DUKE: "If anyone in here has any first aid training at all, start tending to the wounded as best you can."  *Right with you, Baron*  The Baron is a little faster than Iron Duke, so I'll let him lead the way to the next group, following at full flight speed.

WHITE LADY: Try again. Entangle the Terrorist. OCV 8, DCV 6 [rolled 10]. Entangle has 5 Def, [rolled 2 2 3 2 6 - Total: 15, Body: 6] body. Use 10 END from reserve. Yum, that heat absorbed feels good.

INDIGO BARON: With the blast out of the way, IB tells the hostages “I’m sorry but this isn’t over yet. My best guess is that you’ll be safest in here with the door closed. We’re going to work on getting the rest of the terrorists under control and then see to getting everyone out. Until then, hold on – we’ll be back!”

INDIGO BARON: If the walls are typical “interior” construction (wall board over studs), IB will use casual strength to break through the wall into the next office; if the walls look to be something tougher, he’ll go through the door. Once out of the room with the hostages, he’ll head to the final group of hostages at full speed.

PHASE 12

DEX 23
Violet Duchess modifies the illusion on the terrorist. Again the terrorist fails to "break out" of the illusion. The terrorist goes running down the hallway in the direction of the voices. Violet Duchess does not learn the location of the bomb. The terrorist doesn't seem to know it.

GM: Violet Duchess knows that Terrorist 1, when she sees him, is the leader of the terrorists.

VIOLET DUCHESS (GM): How well does she 'know' the terrorist in terms of a mind scan?

GM: The terrorist that she is scanning she will easily recognize again.

GM: Also, I forgot to mention that this phase you also learn that the terrorist leader is to the south, in the open area in front of room 35 and 36.

VIOLET DUCHESS (GM): I also noticed on the map that the SWAT team is on our level. What can you tell us about that? Did they communicate anything on the comm or did they just appear?

GM: Yes, your radios are picking up the SWAT bands and you are all aware that the SWAT team has come up. Two will be heading towards the restrooms. The other will be standing guard. They are letting you guys clear the area first.

DEX 20
Green Knight hits terrorist 11 for 0 BODY and 54 STUN (doubled as terrorist is below 0 STUN) and slams him back into the homicide bomber. Both are out for the count. Green Knight also drains the terrorist of 9 STR and adds the points to his DEX. Green Knight's DEX goes up to 23.

DEX 18
White Lady encases the terrorist in a thick (DEF 5, BODY 6) coating of ice. The timer of his bomb is still ticking down. It will go off in 4 seconds.

DEX 18
Terrorist 13 runs into room 61, pointing his SMG at the hostages. Some of them begin screaming. He did a full move so cannot attack this phase.

Terrorist 14 runs down the hallway.

DEX 17
Indigo Baron slams open the door (using casual STR) and heads in the direction of the final suspected location of the hostages. Iron Duke is right behind him. As they fly, a terrorist appears around a corner and fires. The burst misses Indigo Baron though one of the rounds hits Iron Duke but causes no damage. As they get nearer, they see another terrorist right behind the first.

GM: Let me know if you are going to stop and deal with the two terrorists. You can obviously continue on but then these two might either chase you or they may continue to the room you just left and kill the hostages. It is too late in the phase to attack this phase.

GM: I will apply Post Phase 12 recoveries to everyone.

GM: Everyone can send me their phase 3 and 4 actions.
