| Description: | A radio transmitter capable of transmitting signals over the horizon. Exact range depends on atmospherics but could reach up to 6,000 km on a good day. Roll 2d6 (x 500) to determine effective range for any given transmission. This assumes that the operator is using the antenna that comes with the set. A good antenna, properly configured, will extend the range up to threefold. With a successful Sytems Operations roll, the operator may roll twice and take the better of the two rolls.
